Through its annual international awards program, Coldwell Banker recognizes agents who demonstrated exceptional sales production and leadership over the past year. And behind the scenes, supporting Coldwell Banker NRT’s award publicity efforts is The Studio’s public relations team.
Preparing for award announcements is not a task the team takes lightly. To start, the PR team works with marketing to identify the various needs for each individual company, from updated press release templates and individualized press releases, social media tiles, award celebration events and much more.
In 2019, the public relations went to the national wire and web to announce and celebrate Coldwell Banker NRT’s No. 1 individual agents and No. 1 small teams 2018 sales accomplishments.
And on February 20, Chris Cortazzo and Gail Roberts, Ed Feijo & Team were equally excited and surprised to receive a phone call from Coldwell Banker NRT’s president and CEO, Ryan Gorman, congratulating them on earning the No. 1 ranking among 92,000 Coldwell Banker agents. Chris Cortazzo and Gail Roberts, Ed Feijo & Team distinguished themselves as the No. 1 individual agent and small team, respectively, for their 2018 successes and sales accomplishments.
Cortazzo and Roberts, Feijo & Team’s collective 2018 sales achievement stories were a hit! From the national news wire, the press releases were picked up by 270 media outlets and reached nearly 180 million potential readers. On top of the wire, Realogy posted the news to its website and coverage continued throughout the ensuing weeks in each winner’s local real estate media markets.
Now let’s add in the social media component. Collectively, the Cortazzo and Roberts news reached their industry colleagues, friends, family and potential new business contacts amounting to over 7,600 impressions and 1,724 social media users joined us in congratulating them on their success.
