I am now a copywriter who is part of the largest real estate marketing agency in the country. Actually, I have been since I first started with Coldwell Banker NRT in late 2017, but now, it’s official. We’ve announced our presence to the world. From Instagram posts and eye-catching videos to the sleek and simple black-and-white sign on the wall that reminds me I’m entering “THE STUDIO” every morning, we have definitely arrived. And launched. And now we’re rocketing ahead with the same amazing stuff we’ve always been cranking out – print ads, agent awards, buyer presentations, event planning, social media, public relations and on and on – only now with a united front.
I’ll tell you why this is exciting: Because even though we’re compartmentalized into our own unique specialties – Creative (that’s me), Product and Strategy – we work together better than ever. I feel in the loop on what other teams are centered on, and that makes me a sharper writer and a stronger communicator when sharing everything Coldwell Banker NRT has to offer. With a wider perspective, and info about not only the latest cool tool being piloted by Product but also Strategy’s reports of positive feedback on programs like Clients For Life, I’m confident I can do my job not just well, but knowledgeably well.
Being written up in Adweek and Inman, two of the leading news sources in our industry, really hit home for me (I even bragged a little by showing the articles to my mom). People are talking about our rebranding and it’s easy to see why. We’re 400+ marketing professionals strong – which is darn impressive in itself. And when Mike Fischer, Senior VP of Marketing and head of The Studio, talks about how we’re now boldly taking advantage of our scale and local knowledge and awesome service, it truly makes me proud.
Right from the start, I knew what my focus and goals were, but putting a label on it (and – let’s face it – “The Studio” is an extremely cool label at that) makes it all the more meaningful. So, from here inside The Studio, things are getting pretty exciting. We’ve grown and changed and evolved like crazy in just the year and a half that I’ve been here. There’s no telling what new heights we’ll reach just around the bend.
